Wanneroo Secondary College offers a selection of university entrance courses for students aspiring to higher education, and vocational pathways leading to trade-oriented occupations. This range of options ensures that students have the resources and guidance they need to excel in their chosen fields.

The College is known for its specialist programs in performing arts and Australian Rules Football (AFL). The college has a second campus - Joondalup Senior School Campus, located in the City of Joondalup, which caters for Year 11 and 12 students who wish to move directly into apprenticeships and employment as they complete secondary school.

Wanneroo Secondary College accepts international students in Years 11 and 12.

Life at Wanneroo Secondary College

The College offers a safe, caring and nurturing environment where all students are given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. The teaching and support staff are highly skilled and motivated. Their primary objective is to ensure every student achieves the best possible educational and personal outcomes. The school closely monitors academic progress and overall well-being of each student, offering essential social, emotional, and academic support and guidance.

High-performance programs are also available to students who want to excel in academic extension, robotics and coding, and instrumental music.

To ensure a smooth transition and integration for international students the College has a dedicated international student support teacher, who meets with students daily, offering academic support and essential assistance to aid them in adapting to their new environment.

There are a range of opportunities for engagement with many activities including everything from Minecraft sessions to robotics club, chess club or Scrabble. For those with a love for music are always welcome to join the choir and school band.
