Life at Mindarie Senior College
A comprehensive education is provided with pathways leading to attainment of an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications or future employment. The teachers at Mindarie Senior College are senior secondary specialists in their field, their focus is to support students as they transition from middle school to their bright and fulfilling futures. Mindarie Senior College takes prides in its ability to provide students with their first choice in subject selection due to the size of the school.
Support for Students
Mindarie Senior College students transition to the College for Years 11 and 12. The College has a mentoring program. Each teacher is responsible for mentoring a group of students through their Year 11 and 12 journey. The group meet twice a week.
Student services staff are also there to assist students’ development of sound emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and psychological health. Student services also have a special four-legged team member – a fully certified therapy dog. Who provides the emotional support to the students and staff.

Settling In
The College provides a mentor program for all their students. The program provides a sense of connection, familiarity, and continuity. The student’s mentor is the person the student and parents communicate with for well-being and academic progress.
